
Interview with Marc Renaudin, CTO of TIEMPO.
- How did your project evolve from an innovative concept to a business set-up?
Marc Renaudin - "The Tiempo technology is the outcome of 15 years of research, mainly conducted in the Grenoble Institute of Technology-TIMA laboratory. The five last years proved the most significant step towards the industrialisation of our components and tools. Collaborative projects also gave us the opportunity to evaluate our technology and make sure we could meet the needs of semi-conductor manufacturers. The start-up project was taking shape...
- What support did INPG Enterprise SA offer you?
MR - INPG Entreprise SA considered our potential for success favourably and invested capital as the founder of TIEMPO. Our new partner managed the technology transfer from INPG-TIMA to our company and the transfer was materialised into a specific contract. The Guichet Unique de Valorisation also draw up an agreement which enabled me to commit myself fully to my new challenge as head of the company, with Serge Maginot.
- Can you think of any other service that gave TIEMPO a chance to take off?
MR - INPG Entreprise SA offered the services of an umbrella company so that we were able to honour our first commercial order, before company incorporation.

INPG Entreprise SA has a seat on the Board of TIEMPO and provides management and business advice.
